The ICT community will gather to congratulate the winners of the Apptitude 2011 Contest at Mobile Monday at 5:30 on Monday, October 10th at the Fairmont Hamilton Princess.

On TechTuesday, October 11th students and teachers will be recognized for their activities leading up to, and following TechWeek with a prizegiving for the cyber security competition at 3:30 and an acknowledgement and thank you for technology teachers at 5:00, both at the Chamber of Commerce.

The popular Technology Innovation Awards will take place on Thursday, October 13th with a reception and awards presentation. Over 100 individuals and businesses that display creative uses and commitment to technology all around us were nominated for the 10 prizes.

TechArt is back this year and artists are encouraged to submit their digital photography, graphic art, or electronic illustration to the Bermuda Society of Arts (BSOA).  Submissions will be put on display at the Gallery at City Hall on October 14th with an awards ceremony at 5pm. Prior to the opening of the exhibit, AAC Saatchi & Saatchi will open their doors at 3pm for a behind the scenes tour of the creative side of technology.

TechWeek concludes with TedX Bermuda. Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” the TEDx Bermuda program is designed to give Bermudian organizations and individuals the opportunity to stimulate dialogue through TED-like experiences at the local level.
